Vine Cottage is a newly renovated holiday home in the heart of Hexham, a charming market town in Northumberland’s Tyne Valley. This delightful cottage is a haven for single travellers or a couple wanting a central base when visiting the area.

This charming cottage is tastefully decorated with beautiful oak flooring throughout the living room and bedroom and complemented by stylish soft furnishings and furniture. The bedroom has a double bed with ample wardrobe space which leads into a luxurious en-suite with marble tiles. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and leads to a separate utility containing a washer/dryer.

The property is accessed via some stone steps leading to the front door so is unsuitable for those with mobility issues. The cottage and its outdoor space is fully available for guests use only.

"I have stayed in a few places in and around Hexham, but this is now my favourite. I’m just sorry I hadn’t found it before. Of all the airbnbs I have stayed, it had the best equipped kitchen so I was to prepare a wider variety of meals than I would expect. The central location was brilliant, yet quiet at bedtime. I enjoyed sitting at the table for breakfast watching the comings and going’s on the road outside. Superb little place. Highly recommended."

The Old Workshop

The Old Workshop is a delightful lodge, recently refurbished by master craftsmen, it makes for a perfect holiday retreat for couples, small groups of friends, and family.

The lodge is adorned with tasteful decor, showcasing lovely hardwood floors and clean, whitewashed walls. The large windows and glass doors provide a splendid frame for the picturesque views outside.

Guests can huddle comfortably in the cosy living room, made warmer by the inviting wood-burning fireplace. They can settle down on the L-shaped sofa with a good book, engage in friendly chatter while soaking in the outdoor views, or enjoy a film on the smart TV. The lounge area seamlessly blends into a broader open-plan space that houses the modern kitchen and dining area.

"We had a lovely holiday at The Old Workshop. The place itself was beautifully decorated, luxurious and comfortable with beautiful and peaceful surroundings that made us feel so relaxed from the start. The lovely extra touches like fresh eggs from the hens and honey from the bees made us feel welcome and well looked after. "Our family of four loved staying at The Old Workshop. Sally gave us a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived, and made us feel immediately at home. We were blown away by the location -- The Old Workshop is tucked away in a peaceful rural setting while being only a few minutes drive from Corbridge, which was very convenient for us. We particularly enjoyed the view of the wildflowers from the outdoor seating area. Our young daughters also had a great time in the playroom."
